Robert Drinkwater

Robert Drinkwater joined the Marine Corps the year after 9/11, to fight for his country was always a dream of his. He did bootcamp and MCT in San Diego, California and did his schooling in Pensacola, Florida. After his schooling he became an electrician on the CH-53 Helicopters, which have now been retired, and was stationed on Camp New River, Jacksonville, NC. He served two tours in Operation Freedom and was stationed in Djibouti, Djibouti Africa. When he got out of the Marine Corps he was ranked as a Staff Sergent(SSgt). He now resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Madeline and Judson. He went to the University of Iowa and completed his degree in Electrical Engineering, and currently works on the Government side at Collins Aerospace.
