2025 Military Tribute Banners are available NOW!
These full color banners will showcase veterans and active duty military personnel on select light poles throughout downtown Cedar Rapids during the summer!
Following our festival season, banners are available for pick up.
Honor A Veteran Fund:
The “Honor A Veteran Fund” is a collection of donations designed to help order banners and honor those who deserve it but who may not have the funds to do so.
If you have interest in donating to the "Honor A Veteran" fund,
you can donate below:
Gift a Military Tribute Banner to a veteran in need! Support this program be allowing a veteran to be honored that might not financially be able to pay the banner fee. Veterans will be selected from a pool of nominated veterans that will not have to pay to be honored! Banner will hang in downtown Cedar Rapids during June, July, and August After the banner is taken down, there is the option of keeping the banner or donating it to the veteran or family of the veteran honored as keepsake. Your name/business will appear on the printed banner and be listed on the Freedom Festival sponsor page.
