2024 Tribute to Heroes Breakfast: June 14th!
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, May 30, 2024 — Freedom Festival Tribute to Heroes Breakfast Celebrates Four Community Heroes on June 14th, 2024!
The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival invites you to the 2024 Tribute to Heroes Breakfast happening on Friday, June 14th, 2024, from 7-9 AM. This breakfast will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building inside the historic Colosseum, downtown Cedar Rapids. We are extremely excited to honor this year's Freedom Festival Heroes—Rodney Courtney, Roger Jensen, Mary Kay McGrath, and honorary hero—Ron Slagle.
This celebration breakfast will begin at 7 AM featuring a delicious buffet breakfast and coffee provided by Freedom Festival presenting sponsor, Hy-Vee, with the program starting at 7:30 AM. New Horizons will be performing throughout the breakfast! This year's Tribute to Heroes host is KCRG’s Jim Mertens! Please join us following the ceremony at 9 AM in Plaza Park off the 2nd Avenue Bridge for the Flag Raising ceremony.

Once again, this breakfast will be held on Friday, June 14th starting at 7 AM—located at the Veterans Memorial Building downtown Cedar Rapids (50 Second Avenue Bridge Cedar Rapids, IA 52401). Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a full table of 8.
