Staff Sgt Michael Grimes has earned several recognitions throughout his career so far. He is stellar at what he does which is radio communications military support. Received early promotion to Sr. Airman and then Staff Sgt at 3 yrs. He received national recognition in Washington DC as the 18th ASOC SWMS Airman of the year in 2020 (he had only been in active duty for 9 months when he received it) for bringing troops home from Afghanistan in 2020.
